Ok this is good. When you need a basic, but decent enough hotel across the UK, Travelodge is often a good choice. The experience is consistent, and they have well over 500 locations.
Finding the lowest prices can be tricky though, unless you spend time running many searches until you stumble on a good rate.
You probably know where this is going – there’s now a way to find the best rates across a whole city or region, using Travelodge’s own Pricefinder tool.
Go the the website and click on ‘Best Price Finder’ in the top menu. Choose the town or area you want to visit, and use the price filter to set the maximum you want to pay. You’ll instantly get a list of all the hotels nearby, with the price per night.
We just tried it and found five different hotels across London with nights at under £35 in the next month. Be flexible – not because the rooms are too small, but the lowest prices are often scattered across spread-out dates.
