Ryanair has UK to Portugal flights from £14.99, with September and October examples to Faro and Porto from several UK airports.
That is the deal here: getting to the Algarve, or now Porto, for less than £15, is very cheap for a Mediterranean trip. The fares are one way and they work best if you can travel light, but the lead price is still unusually low.
Ryanair’s own Portugal page listed Liverpool to Porto from £14.99 on 23 September, Bournemouth to Faro from £14.99 on 9 October, Bristol to Faro from £14.99 on 22 September, Cardiff to Faro from £14.99 on 29 September, and Edinburgh to Faro from £14.99 on 21 October, all when checked on 14 September 2026. The airline’s own table did not show Lisbon or Madeira examples on this check, so those routes aren’t repeated here.

The main thing to check is baggage. Ryanair says all fares include one small personal bag, 40 x 30 x 20cm, which must fit under the seat. Priority, a second cabin bag or checked luggage costs extra, so the lowest fares work best for a light short break.
How to book
- Open Ryanair’s Portugal flights page.
- Use the fare examples as a starting point, then search your nearest airport.
- Check both directions before booking, because the lowest lead fare is one way.
- Add baggage only if you need it. The headline fare includes the small underseat bag only.
