Mid-£400s returns from London to the US are the best part of this sale, especially Los Angeles from £434 return and Boston from £444. American Airlines’ sale is live until 25 June, which is an unusually specific offer for the US carriers, who dont often run actual sales.
We checked the page on 11 June and the strongest examples showing were London Heathrow to Los Angeles for 8 to 15 October at £434 return, plus London Heathrow to Boston for 21 September to 1 October at £444 return. New York was weaker at £488, so this looks sharper for Los Angeles and Boston than for the obvious east-coast default.
The main caveat is baggage and routing. American says some sale fares may include a connection, and Basic Economy bag fees can apply, so check the itinerary and luggage line before you pay. If the Los Angeles fare still shows when you search, though, this is a strong price for a US autumn trip.
If you’re eyeing a later-year city break or a longer US trip, start with Los Angeles and Boston first. Those are the examples that looked properly good when we checked.
