Malmaison has a Sunday Kind of Love offer that gets you a Sunday night stay from £49 if you spend £50 on dinner at Chez Mal, and that is still a decent city-break price if you were planning to eat out anyway. We checked the live offer page on 12 June 2026 and found Belfast, Birmingham, Brighton, Cheltenham, Dundee, Leeds, Reading and York all still showing from £49.
The catch is straightforward rather than sneaky. The £50 food-and-drink spend is separate from the room rate, it has to be used on the same Sunday evening, and Bank Holiday Sundays are excluded. Liverpool was showing from £51.40 when we checked, Aberdeen from £59, while London Barbican and Oxford were much pricier at £129, so this is one to target at the cheaper cities.
- Price: from £49 per room
- How it works: spend £50 on food and drink at Chez Mal on a Sunday evening, including a main course per person
- Stay rule: the overnight stay must be on the same night as the dinner spend
- Booking window: bookable up to 90 days before arrival
- Availability: promotional availability, with no end date stated on the live page when checked on 12 June 2026
This is best for a simple UK night away where dinner is already part of the plan. If you just want the cheapest room possible, skip it. If you want a Sunday stay with a meal built in, the terms are clear and the cheapest city rates still look fair.

How to book
Go to the Malmaison Sunday Kind of Love page, pick your hotel, then check a Sunday night within the next 90 days. Before you pay, make sure the room price still reflects the offer and remember the £50 Chez Mal spend is added on top.
