Eurostar Europe fares from £39 each way

Eurostar trains at London St Pancras

Eurostar is showing London to Paris fares from £39 each way across plenty of August dates, with the same lowest-fare terms covering Brussels, Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Lille too. For a school-holiday city break by train, £78 return before local extras is unusually low.

We checked Eurostar’s own calendar on 25 June and found multiple £39 outbound fares from London St Pancras to Paris in August. The return calendar had £39 dates too, including 7, 11, 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, 20 and 21 August.

Eurostar calendar showing £39 fares in August 2026
Eurostar’s own calendar was still showing £39 London to Paris dates when checked on 25 June.

Paris in August for £78 return by train is strong because you avoid airport transfers and arrive in the middle of the city. It also gives you a proper summer short-break option without turning the travel day into the main event.

One detail matters: Eurostar’s page says the named sale has ended, so treat this as lowest-fare availability rather than a promo-code sale. The £39 fare is based on a mandatory return trip in Standard, and availability varies by date and train time. Eurostar’s own terms say the fare bucket applies for travel from 15 July to 13 October and was correct as of 24 June.

This is best for flexible travellers who can move dates around a little. If you need a Friday evening out and Sunday evening back, expect the price to jump on some weekends. If you can travel midweek, the £39 dates are much easier to find.
