Ksamil sits at the southern tip of the Albanian Riviera, a few kilometres from the Greek border. The water is turquoise and shallow, the beaches are white sand, and Corfu is visible across the water on a clear day, roughly seven kilometres away. It has been growing steadily in popularity with British visitors on Albania holidays over the past three years, though it remains far less visited, and far cheaper, than its Greek neighbours.

The package covers a double or twin room with balcony at Hotel Luxury, a four-star property in central Ksamil. The hotel has a 9.3 rating from 345 verified guest reviews, with service rated 9.9 and cleanliness 9.5. Breakfast is included throughout.
- Return flights on Ryanair, direct both ways. Outbound departs London Stansted at 07:25 on 1 June, arriving Tirana at 11:20. The return departs Tirana at 22:45 on 10 June, arriving Stansted at 00:50, so you have a full final day in Ksamil before heading to the airport.

Is this genuinely good value?
At £347pp for nine nights, you are paying roughly £150pp for the flights and around £200pp for the hotel. A Ryanair return from Stansted to Tirana in early June bought separately costs around £120–180pp depending on dates. The hotel, rated 9.3 from a large and reliable sample of reviews, typically runs €70–90 per room per night in June. Nine nights of that, with breakfast, is worth around £600–700 for two people booked separately.
The main caveat is the transfer. Tirana Airport is not near Ksamil. The drive is around three hours, and you will need to arrange your own transport. Shared minibus transfers typically cost £20–30pp each way; a private taxi runs £60–80. Factor that into the overall cost, but even with transfers added it compares well.
One other thing worth noting: the standard rate is non-refundable. If you want the option to cancel, lastminute.com offers a flexible rate with free cancellation up to 18 May 2026, with a deposit from £73pp. There is also a small local tax of £8.51pp to pay at the property on arrival.
The verdict
This is a genuinely strong deal for a specific type of traveller: someone happy to fly Ryanair from Stansted, comfortable with a long transfer at each end, and looking for a quieter, more affordable alternative to Greek island holidays. At £694 for two people in a well-reviewed four-star hotel for nine nights in June, with flights and breakfast included, it is hard to fault on value.
If you need a beach holiday within an hour of the airport, look elsewhere. If you want a blue-water destination that feels like the Aegean but costs less, and you do not mind the research required to get there, Ksamil at this rate is worth booking.
