Wowcher has a Rome city break with return flights and a hotel from £89 per person on selected dates. Wowcher says that is 42% below its comparison price of £152.35, a figure we have not verified.
The price is per person for two adults sharing, so two vouchers cost £178. You choose from 10 hotels that Wowcher describes as central, including Hotel Corot, B&B Hotel Roma San Lorenzo Termini and Aurelius Art Gallery Smart Hotel.
Return flights are available from seven UK airports: London Gatwick, Luton and Stansted, plus Manchester, Edinburgh, Bristol and Birmingham.
£89 is a lead price on selected dates, not a fare for every date. The calendar we opened on 29 October showed £89 on 22 to 24 November, 29 and 30 November, and 5 and 6 December. The first bookable date, 5 November, was £179, and most other November dates ran from £109 to £219, so pick your date before you pay.

Our verdict: £89 is a low price for flights and a hotel in Rome, if you can fly on one of the selected dates. Wowcher lists the Colosseum and Roman Forum about 2 km from the hotels, and the Trevi Fountain about 1.7 km. The listing does not mention breakfast or tours, so budget for food and entry tickets.
