Z Hotels Holborn is offering a few nights in autumn from £44.10, a full £100 less than peak dates. That’s pretty crazy for a central London hotel, especially with Holborn station around the corner.
Verdict: great for a no-frills London night when location matters more than space. Holborn puts you close to Covent Garden, the British Museum, Somerset House and Theatreland, so this is more city base than hotel-to-lounge-around-in.
The £44.10 examples were for one-night stays on Sunday 25 October and Sunday 1 November. Other prices we found on Z Hotels’ own booking route included £48.60 on 31 August, £57.60 on 27 September, £48.60 on 11 October and 18 October, £51.30 on 15 November, £49.50 on 22 November and £54 on 29 November.
The location is the point here: Z Hotel Holborn is on Kingsway, with Holborn station listed as about two minutes away and Covent Garden and Temple around five minutes away.
