The Intrepid Black Friday sale takes 5% to 20% off selected small group trips, with deposits taken until 11:59pm GMT on 1 December 2026. It covers hundreds of trips. South Morocco Discovery is from £632 and the eight-day Serengeti Trail from £1,162. The sale page lists no promo code.
What’s in the Intrepid Black Friday sale
You pay a deposit between 4 November and 1 December 2026, for a trip that departs between 1 December 2026 and 30 September 2027. Departures from 18 December to 3 January are out. The sale covers selected trips, so check on the sale page that your trip and date are included.

Serengeti Trail’s gap is 30%, wider than Intrepid’s 20% maximum, and Sabah Adventure’s is 25%. Intrepid sets the sale against the lowest price it charged for each departure in the 19 days before 4 November, and says the lowest-priced departure shown may reflect discounts outside the sale. We can’t verify Intrepid’s earlier prices. Treat 5% to 20% as the sale discount and the table prices as a guide.
What’s the catch?
- The discount covers the land element only. Flights, extra hotel nights, transfers, travel insurance and local payments cost extra.
- Only selected trips are in the sale. Polar trips, Short-Break Adventures, Tailor-Made Experiences, day trips and nine named trips are out.
- You can’t combine it with other offers, apart from Tesco Clubcard vouchers and bank card-linked cashback. Epic Road Rides can be added by phone only.
- If you cancel and rebook outside the sale window, you pay the full price of the new trip.
- Intrepid can change or withdraw the offer at any time.
- It’s open to residents of the UK, Europe, the Middle East and South Africa only.
- If you book within 56 days of departure, the full amount is due at booking.
Is the Intrepid Black Friday sale good value?
A 15% to 20% cut is a decent saving on a fixed-date trip. The Kenya and Sri Lanka trips in our table save 15%. Premium Japan saves 10%, or £543 on £5,435. We haven’t compared prices with other operators.
How it compares with other tour sales

Sabah Adventure: check the dates
Sabah Adventure, the 11-day Borneo trip, appears on Intrepid’s sale page at £1,455, against Intrepid’s earlier £1,940. Its cheapest departure, 28 November 2026, falls before the 1 December start of the discounted departures, so check which dates carry the lower price.

The verdict
Book an Intrepid trip in this sale if you already have dates between 1 December 2026 and 30 September 2027 and your trip sits at 15% to 20% off. Make sure the departure you want is discounted before you pay the deposit. A 5% or 10% cut is thin, so compare with Intrepid’s usual prices first. The sale excludes departures from 18 December to 3 January.

- Work out your flights separately, because the discount doesn’t cover them.
- If you have a Tesco Clubcard voucher or eligible card-linked offer, check it applies before you pay.
- Pay the deposit by 11:59pm GMT on 1 December. You can pay the rest later, and Intrepid sends a reminder seven days before the final payment is due, unless you book within 56 days of departure.
