Expedia’s Big Summer Sale is offering up to 35% off, with hotel deals, holiday homes, packages, cars, and destination breaks all sitting inside the wider sale.
The useful bit is the range. This is not just a package-holiday sale. We checked the sale page on 6 June, and Expedia is pushing selected stays, hotel themes, holiday homes, package holidays, beach breaks, city breaks, and longer-haul trips.

For hotel deals, start with the stay types Expedia highlights on the sale page: pools, spas, sea views, apart-hotels, apartments, family-friendly properties, cabins, cottages, castles, hot tubs, and pet-friendly stays. Those filters are a better way to shop this sale than searching one broad destination and hoping the discount appears.
For beach trips, check Malaga, Antalya, Malta, Rhodes, Heraklion, Corfu, Ibiza, and Faro. They give you short-to-medium flights, plenty of hotel choice, and enough competition that sale rates are easier to benchmark.
For the Canaries, Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, and Fuerteventura are the obvious checks. They work for summer, but they are also good winter-sun comparisons if you are pricing ahead.
For city breaks, look at Rome, Budapest, Paris, Venice, Athens, Lisbon, Naples, and Istanbul. Hotel prices can move a lot by neighbourhood and date, so flexible travellers have more room to find a real saving.
For long-haul packages, Expedia lists Bali, Las Vegas, Cancun, Orlando, Abu Dhabi, Miami, Japan, Phuket, Los Angeles, and Punta Cana. These need a more careful comparison because flights can change the full package price quickly, but a strong hotel discount can still make the total work.
Before booking, compare the package price with the cost of booking the hotel and flights separately. Expedia says savings vary and are not available on every package, so the number that matters is the final total for your dates.
