Expedia’s Anniversary Sale is live, with members saving up to 30% on selected hotel stays, 25% on bundled flight-and-hotel packages, and 15% or more on activities. Book by 7 October for stays between 1 September 2026 and 31 March 2027.

We checked the sale page on 7 September. The discounted “Member Price” and “Platinum Price” tags only show once you’re signed in, but joining One Key is free and takes a couple of minutes. Sign up before you browse, or the headline saving won’t appear next to the room rate.

Our picks from the sale page

For hotel stays, Expedia is discounting properties across a wide spread of cities rather than one themed sale. On the day we checked, London, Paris, Edinburgh, Barcelona, Rome, Milan, Vienna and Marrakech all had multiple hotels carrying Member Price or Platinum Price tags of 20-40% off the standard rate, alongside beach and city picks further afield in Bangkok, Tokyo and Antalya.

For beach trips, Ibiza, Antalya, and Mallorca (Santanyi, Calpe and Ses Salines all had listings) are worth checking, along with Dubai for something further afield. Prices on individual hotels move daily as rooms sell, so search your own dates rather than relying on a single quoted rate.

For city breaks, London, Paris, Edinburgh, Rome, Milan, Barcelona and Vienna had the deepest discounts when we checked, with several properties over 30% off. Prague, Copenhagen and Berlin-style short-haul options are worth a search too, since availability rotates.

For package deals, Expedia is bundling flights and hotels with up to 25% off and up to two free nights on selected properties. Destinations on the current bundle list include New York, the Canary Islands, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Orlando, Tokyo, Mauritius and the Maldives. As with the summer version of this sale, compare the bundled price against booking the hotel and flights separately before you commit, since the saving varies by property and dates.

For activities, this is new territory for the sale compared with earlier versions we’ve tracked: Expedia is discounting tours and days out by 15% or more, from a Van Gogh Museum guided tour in Amsterdam and a Barcelona-Montserrat day trip to cooking classes in Bangkok and a Mt Fuji and Hakone day tour. Worth a look if you’ve already booked flights and hotel separately and just want to fill in the itinerary.

How to book

Join One Key for free before you search, so discounted Member and Platinum prices show against each listing. Then search your destination and dates, and filter by stay type, package or activity depending on what you’re after. Check the total price, cancellation terms and any local taxes payable before you pay, since the headline saving is calculated against Expedia’s own standard rate rather than a fixed reference price.
