Every easyJet Holidays package includes return flights, hotel accommodation, a 23kg hold bag per person, and ATOL financial protection (licence number 11694). On beach and resort packages, return airport transfers are also included. City break packages generally don’t include transfers.
The 23kg hold bag matters more than it sounds. On a standalone easyJet booking, hold luggage costs roughly £30 to £60 per person per flight. On a family of four doing a return trip, that’s potentially £240 to £480 extra on top of flights and hotel. Having it built into the package makes the headline price more competitive than it first appears.

The gap between the two isn’t unusual for a low-cost operator selling on price. Trustpilot and Feefo reviews are mostly left by customers whose holiday went to plan, often prompted to review shortly after booking or returning. easyJet Holidays covers more than 80 destinations across Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, with around 5,000 hotels available. Popular beach options include Tenerife, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza, Corfu, Crete, Rhodes, Cyprus, Turkey (Bodrum and Antalya) and Morocco. For city breaks, packages are available to Barcelona, Rome, Lisbon, Amsterdam, Paris and Dubai, among others.
Packages are available from more than a dozen UK airports including London Gatwick, Luton, Stansted and Southend; Bristol; Birmingham; Manchester; Leeds Bradford; Newcastle; Edinburgh; Glasgow; and Belfast.
Beach and resort holidays typically run seven or 14 nights. City breaks are usually two to five nights.
Family and child policies
easyJet Holidays classes anyone under two on the return date of the holiday as an infant, and anyone aged two to 15 as a child. Infants are charged separately, at roughly £27 per flight, and don’t get a full checked baggage allowance the way older children and adults do.
Two items of kit travel free per infant or child who needs them: a travel cot, pushchair, buggy, car seat or booster seat. Families travelling with a child under five also get free Speedy Boarding, so you board ahead of the general queue rather than paying for the privilege.
Ultimate Flexibility: deposits, price guarantee and changing your mind
easyJet Holidays brands its booking terms Ultimate Flexibility, built around how you pay, how easily you can book, how easily you can cancel, and how easily you can make changes.
A holiday can be secured with a £60 per person deposit, with the balance due 28 days before you travel. You can pay it off in as many instalments as you like within that window, interest-free.
Cancel 60 days or more before travel and your deposit is returned as easyJet Holidays credit rather than lost, though this only applies the first time you cancel a booking. Any payments above the deposit are refunded to your original payment method, right up to 28 days before you travel. Cancel inside 60 days and you lose the deposit.
Changes can be made online up to 28 days before you travel, usually for a low fee. If a change costs more, such as upgrading the hotel or room, you pay the price difference rather than a separate change fee. Making a change through customer services instead of online can attract an admin charge.
The best price guarantee applies if you find the same holiday cheaper elsewhere within 24 hours of booking, provided the other company is also ATOL and ABTA protected. easyJet Holidays will credit the difference, plus £5 per adult, to your online account.
ATOL licence 11694 means that if easyJet Holidays ceased trading, you’d be refunded in full if you hadn’t yet travelled, or flown home at no extra cost if already on holiday. Neither ATOL nor ABTA protection applies to flights and hotels booked separately, unless you paid by credit card.

Jet2holidays and TUI both put more weight on resort reps and a wider hotel portfolio, which suits families who want someone to call if something goes wrong at the hotel. TUI has by far the widest reach beyond Europe and North Africa, covering long-haul destinations that easyJet Holidays doesn’t fly to at all.
