Wizz Air sale dates follow a fairly predictable pattern. Based on previous years, the next one to expect is Pink Friday in late November 2026, then Travel Tuesday in early December, the End Year sale in late December and the New Year sale in the first two weeks of January 2027. Flash deals in between last 24 to 48 hours, and if you wait, seats on popular routes go fast.

Irregular: watch the app
“Pink Friday is the Wizz Air sale I’d plan around this winter. Its top discount of 30% beats January’s 26%, and it targets the winter sun and city break routes, while the New Year sale is better for summer and autumn trips. The window can shut within a day, so pick your dates before the third week of November and book the moment the app alert lands.”Kate Acaster, Chief Editor, Flight Tribe
The main Wizz Air annual sales
Pink Friday: November 2026
Wizz Air’s answer to Black Friday is called Pink Friday. Expect it in the third or fourth week of November 2026. The last edition offered up to 30% off selected routes for travel into the spring, a strong window for winter sun and city breaks. Our Black Friday flight deals tracker sets Pink Friday beside last year’s offers from easyJet, Vueling and others.
Travel Tuesday: early December 2026
A smaller event, usually on the first Tuesday of December. The last one offered up to 15% off for a single day on fewer routes, a second chance if you miss Pink Friday.
End Year sale: late December 2026
Wizz Air usually closes the year with up to 25% off for January to March travel, so expect a sale in late December 2026.
New Year sale: January 2027
Wizz Air’s biggest seat sale lands in the first two weeks of January. In 2026 it took up to 26% off across 5 million seats, with travel to October, so it’s the one for summer and autumn trips.
Birthday sale: May 2027
Wizz Air’s flagship promotion marks its founding anniversary, so expect it in mid-May 2027. For its 22nd birthday, Wizz Air offered a million seats under €22, bookable from 15 to 18 May 2026, with some of the year’s lowest fares to Budapest, Warsaw, Sofia and Bucharest.
Summer Seat Sale: June 2027
A less predictable June sale with route-specific discounts, not run every year, so watch the app.
WIZZ Discount Club, is it worth it?

As well as scheduled sales, Wizz Air runs a subscription called the WIZZ Discount Club. Members pay £39.99 a year (or £59.99 for two) and get an automatic 10% off every booking, plus reduced baggage fees.
The real advantage is that the discount applies all year round, not just during sale events. If you fly Wizz Air two or three times a year, it usually pays for itself on the first trip.
The discount also stacks on top of sale prices. Buy during Pink Friday and you get both the 30% promotional discount and the 10% member reduction, a combination that can rival the birthday sale on popular routes.
If you fly Wizz Air more than twice a year, the Discount Club is worth considering. Fly once a year or less, and the scheduled sales alone will cover most of the saving.
Wizz Air flash sales
Beyond the calendar events, Wizz Air runs frequent 24 to 48-hour flash sales throughout the year, often without warning. These are usually triggered by low load factors on specific routes, and they’re pushed mainly through the Wizz Air app rather than email.
Flash sales tend to concentrate on Wizz Air’s weakest-selling routes: newer routes, or services to Central and Eastern European cities where competition from other carriers is strongest. Chisinau, Kutaisi, Skopje, Tirana and Tbilisi show up regularly in flash promotions.
Tuesday and Wednesday are the most common launch days, and prices tend to peak on Friday and Saturday. Spring (March to April) and autumn (October to November) see the most flash deals, the shoulder seasons when Wizz Air needs to fill capacity.
How to get notified when Wizz Air has a sale
The app is the fastest channel. Flash sales often turn up there before anywhere else. Here’s how the main alert methods compare:

Booking strategy: timing a Wizz Air purchase
The cheapest Wizz Air fares come from combining three things: buying during a sale window, booking at the right point in advance, and choosing mid-week departures.
Fare-tracking data puts the optimum booking window at 8 to 12 weeks ahead for Wizz Air, earlier than Ryanair but later than British Airways. Flash sales can override this for specific routes, but for general planning, two to three months ahead is the target.
You can also check live fares directly on wizzair.com before committing to a sale price, since flash deals sometimes undercut the advertised sale rate on quieter routes.
Our guide to how to get cheap flights from the UK covers price alerts and airport comparisons across every carrier. It has the right booking tools for finding cheap fares generally, not just on Wizz Air.

Tips for getting the most from a Wizz Air sale
| Tip | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Turn on app notifications | Flash sales often run under 24 hours |
| Use private browsing | Wizz Air uses dynamic pricing |
| Compare both airports | Fares can differ by departure airport |
| Check other carriers too | Wizz Air sales often land alongside other airline promotions |
| Consider booking one-way | Wizz Air runs a point-to-point model |
| Sort cover and parking early | A cheap sale fare doesn’t cover the rest of the trip |

When is the next Wizz Air sale?
Based on previous years, expect Pink Friday in late November 2026, then Travel Tuesday in early December, the End Year sale in late December and the New Year sale in January 2027. Turn on push notifications in the Wizz Air app to catch the flash sales in between before they close.
Does Wizz Air have a Black Friday sale?
Wizz Air brands its November promotion as Pink Friday rather than Black Friday. It follows a similar format, a 24 to 48-hour window with discounts of up to 30% on selected routes, and based on previous years the next one should run in late November 2026.
How far ahead should I book Wizz Air to get the cheapest fare?
For the lowest fare outside a sale, aim to book 8 to 12 weeks ahead, though flash sales can beat that with shorter notice depending on which routes need filling. For summer flights, the January New Year sale is usually the best chance to book early at a discount.
Does the WIZZ Discount Club give better prices than a sale?
Not on its own, a 10% Discount Club reduction is smaller than the 20 to 30% seen in Pink Friday or the New Year sale. The real value comes from combining both, members get their 10% discount on top of any active sale price.
Which UK airports does Wizz Air fly from?
Wizz Air flies from Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Doncaster Sheffield, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, London Gatwick, London Luton and Manchester. Luton is the largest UK base, with the widest range of destinations.
How do I know when Wizz Air launches a flash sale?
Push notifications from the Wizz Air app are the fastest route. Flash sales are often announced there before they reach the website or an email, and popular routes can sell out within hours.
